With over 25 years in the financial services industry, Paul brings a wealth of experience and a full understanding of our business. He has experience in key insurance and investment distribution channels with a strong track record of success. For five years Paul was Senior Vice President, Distribution & Sales with a national wealth management distribution company, offering a full suite of financial products and services with 2400 licensed advisors. In this role Paul provided leadership nationally for the MGA, MFDA, and IRROC divisions of the Company. During his tenure assets grew from $5.8 B to $13 B and insurance revenue grew from $9 M - $16 M. As a member of the Executive Management team Paul was a key contributor to the development of the company's strategic plans and initiatives. Paul had a 20 year career with Sun Life Financial. From 1992-2004 he was successful in growing business in leading progressively larger successful financial centers in Alberta and British Columbia. In 2000, the Vancouver Metro Financial Centre was ranked #1 in Canada in first year commissions. In the early years, Paul was a highly successful Advisor and subsequently the Sales Manager in the Manitoba Centre. Paul is a Certified Financial Planner professional, Chartered Leadership Fellow, and served on the Board of Directors of the Financial Planners Standards Council of Canada for five years from 2005 - 2010. He brings with him an extraordinary wealth of expertise in both life insurance & financial services. Paul lives in Vancouver with his wife Catherine (Katie). They enjoy spending leisure time boating on the west coast of British Columbia and travelling. |
