Kids Around the World
The MDRT Foundation and MDRT Canadian Foundation in partnership with Kids Around the World (KIDS), based in Rockford, Ill. are helping KIDS continue their mission of building playgrounds for children in underserved communities worldwide. On May 19-23, more than 30 MDRT members, family and industry friends built a playground for the children of Regent Park, a low-income neighborhood in downtown Toronto, Ontario. The park was officially dedicated and opened on May 23rd.Daystar is very proud to be one of the corporate donors to have helped this playground come to fruition and provide a space for the more than 600 children in the surrounding community to have a safe place to play.

2008 TELUS Walk to Cure Diabetes
The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) is the leading charitable funder and advocate of Type 1 diabetes research worldwide.
